YOUTH VOLLEYBALL ACADEMY

Club Cactus Juniors hosts it's popular Youth Developmental Program – the CCJ Youth Volleyball Academy. The Youth Volleyball Academy is specifically designed to introduce beginners in Southern Arizona to the exciting sport of volleyball, as well as enhance the skills of our younger players and prepare for the upcoming club season.

The Youth Academy holds a Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer session during the USA Volleyball season, which begins September 1 each year. Most sessions meet Monday and Wednesday evenings at the Sporting Chance Center. The training sessions are geared for boys and girls, 3rd-5th and 6th-8th grade, who are looking for an introduction to the game of volleyball. Each session offers 12 practices and meets twice a week. This is an Academy - we have fun while focus is placed on repetition and technique to help develop muscle memory for a variety of skills. We provide a balanced training environment, instilling joy and ability for the game.

The Advanced Academy is offered during the Fall Session for 14U/13U players that played on a competitive club team during the previous club season and/or older players that attended past Youth Academy sessions. The Advanced Academy will have curriculum geared towards a typical club practice for players looking to prepare for the Club Season during the Fall high school volleyball season when club volleyball has a quiet period.

FALL SESSION (SEPTEMBER - OCTOBER 2021)

The Youth Volleyball Academy is specifically designed athletes ages 8-14; or entering grades 5-8 this Fall.

ADVANCED YOUTH ACADEMY (SEPTEMBER - OCTOBER 2021)

The Advanced Academy is specifically designed 13U-14U athletes that are preparing for the 2022 Club Volleyball Season.
