FOREIGN TEAM REQUIREMENTS

The Cactus Classic Invitational welcomes teams from Mexico every year!  Foreign Teams (registered with its National Volleyball Federation) may participate in the Cactus Classic by completing the following requirements:

1. Register for tournament in Advanced Event Systems (AES)

   • Entry fee can be paid online at AES; or email cactusclassic@clubcactusvolleyball.com for alternative payment acceptance at check-in.

   • Please contact support@aes.com if you do not know your FJ code.

2. Secure hotel rooms under the CACTUS CLASSIC HOTEL BLOCK (optional)

   • Foreign Teams that book rooms under our Hotel Block may qualify for a discounted entry fee.

   • Email us if you need assistance with hotels.

3. Prepare the necessary documents for Team Check In on Friday, January 17

   • See list below for documents

4. The team is not representing its country in an official capacity

5. Purchase foreign participant insurance, which will be provided by USA Volleyball for $100 USD.   For more information on the Summary of Coverage, click here.

   • Insurance fee will be turned in at team check in.

   • A waiver to the foreign participant insurance fee shall be granted when providing written proof of 24-hour health coverage valid in the United States.

​PLAYER DOCUMENTATION:

• Foreign Participant Registration Form, which includes the Code of Conduct on Page 2

• Copy of Photo ID (i.e. Passport)

• Medical Release and Liability Form signed by players parent or legal guardian

• Copy of birth certificate (note: a Passport will also fulfill this requirement)

• A signed copy of the USA Volleyball Code of Conduct and Waiver and Release of Liability (provided on page 2 of the Foreign Participant Registration form)

​STAFF DOCUMENTATION:

• Foreign Participant Registration Form, which includes the Code of Conduct on Page 2

• Copy of Photo ID (i.e. Passport)

• A signed copy of the USA Volleyball Code of Conduct and Waiver and Release of Liability (provided on page 2 of the Foreign Participant Registration form)

• Copy of IMPACT or equivalent certifications

  • IMPACT Certification rating may be met by supplying proof of the following:

  • USA Coaching Accreditation Program (CAP), Levels I, II or III

  • RVA IMPACT course (region or National Office verification required)

  • Canadian Volleyball Associations Levels 1-4

  • FIVB International Courses Levels 1-3

  • Curso de Entrenadores Nivel 1 (Coaches Training Level 1)

TEAM DOCUMENTATION:

• Foreign Summary Team Participation Form

• $100 US Dollars for Insurance (A waiver to the foreign participant insurance fee shall be granted to Canadians who provide written proof of 24-hour health coverage valid in the United States.)

• A letter of good standing from their volleyball federation

All Foreign Team Documentation can be collected at Team Check-In; or electronically by submitting all information to cactusclassic@clubcactusvolleyball.com by January 15, 2020.
